A fundraising event to benefit the Parkinson’s & Alzheimer’s Research and Education Foundation (PAREF) was held online. The event aimed to raise awareness about Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease in the area of lifestyle interventions and modifiable risk factors. The event was planned and organized by Dr. Christine Greer who joined PAREF in 2020.
Dr. Greer aims to help support and direct outreach and educational interventions for lifestyle-based interventions, such as nutrition and exercise, related to Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative conditions. She is a physician trained at the University of Miami, University of Southern California, NewYork-Presbyterian, Weill Cornell Medicine, and has a Masters in Human Nutrition from Columbia University.
